The Museum of Texas Handmade Furniture sits on a beautifully wooded 11 acres in the historic New Braunfels situated in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. It mainly houses a stunning collection of the domestic and structural artifacts from some of the initial European migrants settling in the heart of the Lone Star State.
The museum is mainly fortunate for possessing several locally crafted pieces from the historic German community of New Braunfels. It includes several exquisite creations of the locally prominent master carpenters Johann Michael Jahn and Heinricj Scholl Jr that were mainly handcrafted in the traditional Biedermeier style of the mid 19th century.
